At the moment you come to that restaurant team give you a comfortable feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a nice restaurant to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. Excellent cuisine, creative chief cook and stuff, competitive cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.

Food is fantastic, all home made, great variety of beverages both alcholic and nonalcholic.Fantastic patio with umbrellas and beautiful scenery. Also indoor tables as well.

Great food in a lovely garden setting. Very nice pet friendly patio or sit inside in one of their interesting rooms. They have music playing all the time. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you.

They have done a great job through these crazy times and we stop by for takeout whenever we can (you can also dine in). My go-to is the chicken salad sandwich for lunch. It's served on the best cranberry bread and is the perfect size so you can split the sandwich with a friend or take one half home. Don't forget to make room for one of their large, yummy cookies. We like their oatmeal raisin, but they're all good. We see folks stopping by for coffee and they offer a robust breakfast menu. (Which I think is served until 11am). Easy ordering online if you wish. The Grotto is one of our faves in Cave Creek.

So yummy we had the Italian Soda and BLTA on the cranberry walnut bread and so awesome. I couldn't eat it all. Super friendly staff and great eclectic homey feel. Eat in or on patio and pet friendly seating on patio.

Great all American cuisine with plenty of gluten free options. The staff at The Grotto Cafe was super friendly and knowledgeable. Outside and inside seating available. The decor is cute and welcome. I'll definitely be back.

Lovely little place in cave creek. Great breakfast and good espresso. I am a biscuit and gravy critic and i actually liked their version. Its been years since i had a real biscuit and gravy dish served with real ingredients and a fresh biscuit. We will be regulars here for sure.

The best place for salads sandwiches and soup in Cave Creek (also try Local Jonny's down the road a bit). Order at the counter and eat inside or outside at umbrella covered tables. Little known secret: they will customize your salad to suit your tastes. Great vibe. Bonus: normally open to 5. (Nothing is normal at present)

This is my favorite place in Cave Creek. The cafe has such great character and the best staff! They are very kind and the food is superb. Not to mention the lovely outdoor seating options, especially since they have great music playing. If you love soup I highly recommend the richly flavored chicken enchilada house soup.

Excellent food and service. You can get the sandwiches and salads in halves so you can sample multiple items. I really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. The cranberry bread it came on was an excellent touch. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The outdoor dining area was cozy and delightful on a beautiful sunny day.

Fabulous Carnitas Nachos with a homemade avocado sauce. The pork was so tender and chips seemed homemade as well. The spicy bloody Mary was fabulous as well. Sit out back and enjoy the beautiful patio area.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly, they were amazing too. I had the strawberry salad . First time I ever ordered food and it looked exactly like the picture. My husband had a hearty club sandwich, a real man sandwich.The bread they use is so good. I had a cranberry walnut bread with my salad. YUMMY !! That salad is so big you could feed two people. Of course I ate the whole thing because it was so delicious. Thanks for the great food guys, we will definitely be back. You won't be sorry you ate here!

Great little lunch spot. Good tacos and sandwiches. They also have a good breakfast menu. Margarita are strong and top shelf is top shelf.

Grotto Cafe was busy but they got my food to me quickly. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend it if you have never been there.

Fantastic! Excellent food, really great atmosphere and if you like great music and memorabilia from the 60s,70's and 80's...this is the best vibe. I can't wait to go back.

last night was our first time in this good restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the high quality dishes and wine and with the friendly payment. We will definitely visit there again.

First time coming here this morning and can’t believe it took this long to do so. By far the best breakfast in Cave Creek. The coffee is just as delicious (try the iced MoCafe). Well worth the 30 minute drive from Scottsdale.

We came in on a Sunday for brunch and enjoyed the Bloody Mary which is incredibly delicious... I like mine spicy!We also had the biscuits in gravy and the French toast which are out of this world. Everybody is super friendly and the customer service is excellent. Thank you for your outstanding ambiance and friendly staff. I come here whenever I dine out in Cave Creek!

We enjoyed lunch here and found the food to be fresh and delicious, Eating out in the garden was delightful. The service was good. The iced tea was fresh. All in all it was an enjoyable lunch. We highly recommend it.

Place is adorable... I live in Cave Creek and go often, however one of the problems is incorrect orders, grotto staff put items on sandwiches that are not on the menu ie tomato on chicken salad. Has happened 4 times, when you tell them they just remove itself item, no concerns for cross contamination. For those of us with allergies or gluten it could be a death sentence! I wished they care about the customer as much as the food.

I tried this place in the past with a friend and I am hooked ever since. I liked the awesome vibes and yummy dishes and beverages. Keep it up.

Wow. Great place for breakfast. Coffee excellent. Full of locals. It's set back a little from the road with plenty of parking.

Food and staff were great. Nice outdoor patio area with heaters in the winter. Very dog friendly. If you look in the white mailbox on the patio, you'll find it full of dog biscuits

Visited for our first time for breakfast. The two stars are for the atmosphere great little patio for out door fresco dining. Food was just ok but we were very disappointed in the lack of Covid safety. Tables were not wiped down between customers. Hand sanitizer was not available on the patio, many tables were not 6 ft apart and many people gathering in groups. With a spike in cases here in AZ I would have hoped for better safety measures.

Really enjoy this cafe. Salads are wonderful. The pulled pork sandwich was a little too sweet for my taste. The cold brew was quite good!

Good food, relaxing place, but waiting in line sucks. It should not take long to get a cup of coffee and a scone. They need to improve service at the counter.

The staff at the Desert Foothills Library suggested this spot to my friend, Scott so we stopped by for lunch. I had the BEST gourmet grilled cheese sandwich EVER! I'm pretty sure the lemonade fresh was squeezed. I know it was delicious. But fresh squeezed, delicious AND bottomless??? Genius.If I'm ever back in Cave Creek, I'll stop by again. Next time, I think I'll try their quesadilla.

Despite the lunch hour and waiting in line to order, there were plenty of places to sit mostly inside but we found a table outside after we ordered. Delightful, dog friendly and kid friendly. Food excellent, especially the fish tacos. Will come again and I recommend it.

It’s right there, behind the red truck, drove by it many times and today I visited it. Quesadilla with Shrimp and a homemade cookie with some excellent coffee. Was very delicious and the service was great. Cool location with plenty of parking and things ... must visit.

I live in Minnesota. Took a trip to Arizona for a few days, went to this place for lunch one time, and this place was literally the highlight of my entire trip. The best food I’ve ever eaten. I got their pork tacos, and my sister got the nachos (You bet I stole some of her nachos.) The chai lattes here are to die for, too. Can’t stop thinking about this place now!

Terrible food, bad customer service and old angry patrons only eating here. Do not eat here...expensive and snobby.
